Happy New Year from two of our favorite cities, New York City and Mexico City. Check out our latest newsletter update on what we’ve been loving and what we’ve been up to.

Though we love Bend, this trip was a particular delight as it was a time to look back on our year, reflect, and design the year we want to have in 2022 with some friends (our ‘accountability’ crew) all amidst a hint of snow to end December in style.

Our latest edition of “Where in the World Wednesday” coming to you from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios and the sandy beaches of Destin, FL.

About 2,673 miles of driving later from Austin to Seattle… the car is back in Washington! To say it’s a relief would be a massive understatement.

Remember the last time we were in Austin some 5 months ago? Well, what we didn’t share was how we left our car behind here (yes, the car that has been serving us so well throughout our US-roadtrip in 2020/2021) while we ventured back to Seattle, Hawaii, Mexico, and beyond!

An epic month in Mexico City has come to a close and we’re already feeling a new kind of ‘homesick’… one where we long for the familiar sounds, smells, and tastes of the most recent destination we called home.

We’re really sorry… We took a long, unplanned break from the newsletter to work on some other (big) life changes but all roads lead back to travel.

Our time in Seattle is quickly coming to a close as we get ready for our next big adventure. But we have a few Seattle memories to create before we go!

Summer is in full swing and it has been great catching up with friends, family, and so many others we haven’t seen in months. In a world that is increasingly remote-first, it’s no secret to anyone here that we’re (unabashedly) huge supporters of remote work.

A quick business trip has Midori and I separated across states. So this special issue, jointly authored, comes to you from both WA and OR!
